I'm also a user of FinalDCP and works great. I have installed in an i7 machine and renders around 25FPS which is fine for us.
The only problem I've had is that some cinema players didn't start playing the DCP when it had more than one reel, but I didn't do a thorough investigation on that issue so I can't say 100% it was FinalDCP's fault. After that all the DCPs we've made are 1 reel only.

Can't say I have recently tried Easy DCP but with Final DCP, I render QT's out of MC and on my old 12core 2.66 z800, I get Final DCP to encode at around 25-29fps. You can speed up wrapping and hashing by using fast (SSD) drives for rendering and destination. I don't use networking. The one time I tried to mess with that, it became clear quite quickly that you need a really, really fast network that is not being clogged by anything else to make proper use of it. With my simple 1G copper network, my second machine did not really gain me any speed.
FinalDCP also allows you to crop, scale etc. Not sure how well EasyDCP is with that. When I first tried it, it required DPX or TIFF in the exact correct pixel size and aspect ratio.
Final DCP seems to be priced quite more attractively.
Own their KDM solution, haven't found the time to test it or use it in the field.
