A series went through a QC house in Toronto, and several level "2" errors were flagged as "solarization". I know this term from photography, but as a digital flaw I'm puzzled. They indicated it was on the highlight side of an actor's face, however, I can't see any problem. There is skin detail, and the highlights peaked at about .5mV. The footage was shot with an Alexa.
Is anyone familiar with issue?
Thanks, Scott
