In MC 8.6.3, when using the source browser, I don't know of any possibility to change the AMA plugin type, do you? ( after introducing the source browser to AMA link, this option is gone IMHO)
I installed MC 8.5.3 as a test to check if the C300MKII shots are AMA linked and as long as I choose the 'Contents' folder with all the clips instead of the individual MXF clips, everything works fine and it is easy to consolidate the shots.
But in MC 8.6.3 this doesn't work with source browser. You can select the 'contents' folder with all the clips but they appear unusable after linking.
Seems like a bug in MC 8.6.3 or compatibility issues with the Canon AMA plugin.
