[Avid-L2] Media Composer and Ultrastudio 4K stuck in NTSC

 

Getting a chance to test out an UltraStuio 4K connected to a MacPro cylinder. Using the Blackmagic software I set the UltraStudio to 1080p23.98 and it shows that it changes. But when I launch Media Composer and it starts to go through it's initializing process it reverts to NTSC.

I can open a project in MC, a 1080p 23.98 project, and disable the software from the timeline button and then go into the Blackmagic software and reset the UltraStudio to 1080p23.98. But when I go back into the Media Composer project and reactivate the hardware it once again reverts to NTSC.

Does anyone know what has been done wrong in the setup? I'm using the latest versions of MC and the BM drivers.

MC 8.6.3
BM Desktop Video 10.8.1
