The Classic Airspeed software came with utilities for this; Pilot and Flightplan, which integrated with the editor and Transfer Manager for this purpose.
Your Avid dongle had to be licensed for this function, if I recall.
Not sure whether the software got yanked from Avid's website during the Javapocalypse. What version of Classic AirSpeed are you running?
I wasn't into video editing 10 years ago, but I really cant believe that there is NO WAY to get clips to and from the AirSpeed without some special EOL software that's no longer available from Avids site....crazy. You would think at least if you could FTP the files, you could at least import them into a bin and it would media convert, but MC wont even recognize that file type. So annoying. Must be SOME work around for this.
