Try this...

Open a command prompt. 
Type 'diskpart' enter
Type 'list disk'
    Hard drives on your computer will be listed        as a drive number then it's capacity 
Look for your 4Tb G-drive. 
If it is drive #1,
Type 'select drive 1' enter
Type 'clean'

This will erase the entire drive.
You can then use Windows Disk management to create a new partition and the format it.

I just purchased a 4Tb G-Drive. It keeps telling me it's locked. I can't format it, delete it zip zero nada.

I'm on Win 7 accessing it thru USB. I have tried every frigging suggestion on G-Drives site. How do I unlock this drive?

Why would they lock it in the first place? I have Mac Drive on my machine but even it can't unlock it! What the hell????

Help please I'm pulling my hair out !!!!!
