[Avid-L2] Re: Mac OSX Sierra DON'T UPGRADE!!!!!

 

Thanks Terry.  Always good advice!  Not sure why someone would put a brand new OS version on their production machine.. unless there was some issue that the new OS fixed.

Personally I have no interest in advanced Siri support, enhanced support for iWatch and iPhone.. or any of the other listed features.  At least not on my editing machine.  I actually think El Capitan took a step backwards... (removing Pro features and dumbing down the OS) and the only reason we went to it on one of our machines was a need for an updated Nvidia driver (for a different application).  Mavericks and Yosemite are working fine (and older versions work well too.. if the App will allow it).
