Re: [Avid-L2] Re: Avid Airspeed

This goes back aways. Remember that initially Transfer Mgr/Client and FTP DHM Option were licensed on the dongle and purchased as options. Had to configure the Avid FTP Browser, after installing the sfw. Did this for a client that had purchased these options in sfw without an Interplay System in place. Tranf. Mgr later evolved into Interplay Transfer, I believe. They did have a UMN and they ftp'd to their local NAS from the NC's and MC's. Have some screen grabs that might be of use, if you'd like. This was circa 2009/10.

Yeah this is an Airspeed Classic =)  I have MC 2.7.7 installed on this Machine and Its Interplay Transfer 2.7.5, but I didnt install the transfer Engine yet. WHen that DOES install (tried on another machine which botched my Avid isntallation because of version mismatch) it fires up a command prompt and then it loads and then it says a license couldnt be found, but I havent installed on here yet.  I will try that next. I did install the Client softare but I didnt see a new "tab" anywhere
