Also, don't forget that Script Integration itself
works without the need of ScriptSync's super-powers.
Check "Avid Media Composer Family Help" from the Help menu
and look-up "Script Integration." Then investigate a feature called
"Interpolate Position." You may find that this makes Script Integration
workable enough for you.

Hey look down there . . . Ben has a book (and he's not ashamed to plug it ;)
Click the image or the link. Buy a dozen . . . Give them as gifts,
e.g. weddings, baby showers, tupperware parties . . .
And since I'm being shameless . . .
(because I'm groggy after working the overnight shift),
why not stop by the book's Facebook page and "Like" it.
If you poke around the picture albums there you'll find a few tips and tricks.
This now brings us to the end of the broadcast day.
Please enjoy some stock video of the American flag blowing in the wind
while the Star Spangled Banner plays . . . . . .

Subject: Re: [Avid-L2] Script Syncthanks Greg! I am doing dailies, I am going to install a Avid MC 7.0.6.1 and see what happens. Ill check back with you if I get stuck. On Saturday, June 25, 2016 11:39 AM, Greg Huson <greg@secrethq.com> wrote:Script based editing is still in media composer- the automatic syncing is what is gone. So you only need the script sync for an hour or two, probably, to sync sound to script- unless you're doing dailies. We keep one system in 7.x exactly for this purpose- if you don't find a loaner/rental license, you're welcome to come by and use our assistant station for a very nominal fee. We're in Culver City. Obviously that might not be practical on a daily basis. I'm sure there's also a way to do it with proxy/ultra-low-res media, too- as in, easily emailed- just haven't thought that workflow through.________________________Greg HusonSecret Headquarters, IncGreg (at) SecretHQ.comHi All,I am currently running Avid 8 on mac. I have a job coming up this week that will require script sync. I understand the two don't work togeather.Does anyone know how to get a script sync Lic? or is someone interested in selling or renting me an older version of avid media composer with script sync? Any suggestions would be great.Art Freed818-674-2142
