Can you list your workflow and settings on making the 10b MXF?  Because I regularly bring small sections of DPX into Media Composer, apply really awful BCC effect that the client really really wants, then export that out as 10b MXF to use in Resolve and the 10b MXF matches dead on to the DPX.  If you post your step by step maybe we can see if you are missing a crucial step in there.  Because it's actually not as intuitive as you would like it to be.

We have found that a 1:1 MXF export 10b looks worse than a 10 bit DPX export… It looks like less bits than it should be… 
 
Anyone else seeing this?
