If it really is furlough that's too bad. Nobody deserves it at AVID, except for the overachieving executives, and Marianna alone has done more for the company than all of the managers in charge for the last two decades together. Layoffs, downsizing, lack of vision and innovations, sluggish and out of focus development, no care at all for the customers and obviously for the workforce either, and now they're mobbing Marianna?!? Blinded by greed, the AVID executives are sinking the ship and digging their own graves. Shall AVID die, the source code be released into the public domain, and Marianna successfully run a new company selling Media Composer Reloaded, aided by former fellow employees who can't loose their jobs for the avidity of the shareholders and the managers!
