I think you'll find that it is currently impossible to transcode Sony A7SII XAVC-S UHD files to DNxHD or DNxHR in Media Composer -- even when using the Drastic Technology MediaReactor plugin. Even with that plugin, Media Composer sees those files as unsupported. The fix for this AMA limitation, as well as native support for XAVC-S, has been reported to be addressed sometime in Q4-2016.
With the release of Resolve 12.5, the former XAVC-S audio problem has been solved, so Resolve is a very good environment to transcode those particular files to DNxHD or DNxHR. A secondary approach would be to use ClipToolz Convert V3. However, that application does not support DNxHR, so you would need to transcode UHD files to an intermediate QT file, and then AMA/Transcode within Media Composer.
