Not experiencing the issues you are having. But I have found a reproducible way to crash the GPU which is something I had never seen before. Drop on a BCC"Smooth Tone" effect and crank the "Iterations" setting way up. When you go to render it, Boom, your GPU will crash and restart. Iterations is the number of times it reapplies the effect to itself.
