Very interesting times indeed.


For many, there are still very good reasons to move between dedicated software platforms.

However, with impressive improvements to Resolve Edit, integration of node-based Fusion visual effects & composting,  compatibility with OpenFX plugins you probably already own, the ability to ingest, transcode and output myriad video formats, a modern and functional title tool, and of course, Resolve Color -- it's worth a look.  It certainly turns the notion of round-tripping on its head.

Mike just pointed out a lot of stuff. But there are little things like bin sorting, keeping a clip selected when going from media to edit tabs, etc. that were all fixed. It's the little things that add up over a day to piss you off. The fact that everything we brought up was dressed already was what impressed me. (Except for bin level locking)
