Everyone is aware of the QT issue. It now installs without the browser plugin which is the potential problem area.

My curiosity peaked, I downloaded to my PC.  My Avid is on a Mac.  The PC download calls for QuickTime, which Apple and Microsoft warns user to uninstall for security reasons. Any thoughts?

I have Resolve 12 and MC 8.5.x running on both Mac and PCs for a while with no issues. It means you need BM cards for I/O though.
