My curiosity peaked, I downloaded to my PC. My Avid is on a Mac. The PC download calls for QuickTime, which Apple and Microsoft warns users to uninstall for security reasons. Any thoughts?

If you are running them concurrently, you will want to change the General Options to "Release Video I/O Hardware When Not In Focus".
This also applies to working with Fusion Connect and an external monitor.
