Late to this thread - this is GREAT!

I failed QC a few months ago using Nitris to put CC on HDCam - the QC note was '608 captioning present, 708 captioning missing.'

I didn't even realize that was possible!  Can you confirm you are getting captioning in both places?  (the scopes we use for decoders don't allow for checking each 'track' separately - it showed positive for '608/708/')

UPDATE:  The back rev of Desktop Video forced a firmware downgrade and once we brought it back up to 10.5.4 the current firmware reinstalled we are now able to pass Closed Captioning through HD-SDI. 

Thanks for all the brainstorming. I appreciate the suggestions.
