Yes logmein worked when we tried it. You have to have the hardware output card disabled to get the audio out of the PC though..

Teamviewer does do audio over the net. Obviously depends on your bandwidth at either end but I've used it for doing remote exports/uploads etc from home and often check the file to see if everyting is workign OK. The audio is not always in sync with video but good enough to get an idea of whats going on. The screen sharing is great. The client can even take control of your mouse and do the edits for you!
