Hi,

I think I was getting those occasionally, not every time. I don't remember the solution. I was on Mac OS X 10.9 and MC 8.4.5. I jumped to El Capitan (10.11.3 now) to be able to load MC 8.5. Wanted the new features but have not tried them yet. It seemed like my problems were due to MC waking up with the computer before the Lacie came back on-line.

FInder level copying to those drives works perfectly. It's only the Avid that is having the issue.
