Consider this to be anecdotal, and absolutely worthy of confirmation on your part, but I have been informed that Media Composer will not allow UHD and 4k clips to be transcoded to DNxHR or DNxHD unless one is using the native Avid AMA plugin. It was described to me as being an outstanding issue with how Avid wants to have 4k material brought into Media Composer. Now, this may have only applied to the plugin I was using (Drastic MediaReactor) -- and not to the plugin you are using -- but you might want to confirm this.
