Aren't torrents designed to optimize mass distribution, i.e. one file going to many users? I don't see how a torrent offers any advantage sending a file point-to-point. Also, it's my understanding that the incentive for a user to become a seeder is that they want access to the file(s) - why would people create a swarm for you if you're only sending encrypted video files for your own eyes?

Did you try the torrent-based system? That struck me as very interesting. Was thinking about experimenting with it. The MPAA doesn't like torrent because it's traditionally used for piracy, of course, so I'm not sure we'll actually be able to use it, but though it would at least be worth an experiment.
