Re: [Avid-L2] Getting Premier Audio out to Avid the Saga Continues?

Mike I knew all those pains back in the one inch rooms.  The pain is nothing new.  Same crap different parking lost as they use to say when I worked the Olympics.  I had one of the first two ISC edit systems that contolled 3/4 and VPR 3s without an I square like device.  I also had one of the first scratch and sniff GVG 141 panels hooked to one of the first GVG 300 switchers that had to be modified to add auto trans etc...  The switcher came from the Osmand production studios and was one of the first 300s made.  They had to swap a ton of components in the main frame and control panel to make things work.  Then the scratch and sniff 141 was so buggy they gave us a 41 instead.

Perhaps I'm better with familiar pain rather than unknown pain.  Probably why I keep putting off the Colonoscopy too.

Now you know how we felt in one inch rooms when we first started getting avid edls with every shots at 99.91% play speed or 101.3% that was my favorite.

Then it was the Vitc not agreeing with ltc years before Fast forward and it's how we felt when we started getting red rushes with missing tape names and time of day code making all the rushes messy in multicam.

Premieres growing pains to pro are just the next guys problem.

Mike
