Our AEs were mentioning the 10,000 limit on a Unity.  Could one of the storage specialists remind me of the exact number of files and directories is the Unity limit?  I remember 10,000 directories off the top of my head but then there was something like a folder counted as 5,000 files or some such architecture where something counted like a bunch of files when tallying up the number of files.  Are these limits per media engine or allocation group or what?

Also how many chassis can be hung off a media engine?  We have 2 unity MediaNet 5s and have 3 extra media arrays to be added to our existing systems or to be used on an additional media engine we would aquire.  On one unity there are 500GB media arrays combined with a separate chassis with 1TB drives.  The 1 TB chassis was added as a separate allocation group to a 4 chassis medianet 5 that has 500GB drives.  According to the AEs the additional 1 TB chassis is flaky at the finder level and when just using Avid to consolidate etc...  Is there known issues mixing different size drives chassis in a unity even when they are a different allocation group?  TIA
