What is hard about using ALE?
Any half decent spreadsheet / text editor can generate them, they're human readable, and it works...

Thanks for the links Job. Very helpful, especially the information about
the quirks.

I find it surprising that these days, when metadata is so important,
there isn't an easier way to integrate new columns of information into
an Avid bin. In my case it is to include cue descriptions when importing
tracks from a library but I would think there would be several others.
