Rather poor wording on Avid's part, eh? I tell you, whoever is righting these Investor Relations releases better go back to school. How do you quantify "excitement" to an investor?
So should we believe the 100,000 number too? Does your confidential information confirm that the 8,000 are "toe-dippers" or what? Perhaps this is just a Q1 2015 number?
However, I do agree that the 8,000 number is absurdly low if we are looking at subscriptions as a whole, which is what this release implies.
