Re: [Avid-L2] OT - Quad Tape

Hmmm . . .
Maybe I should dig-up the 16mm full-coat mag stock
I know I have packed away somewhere. We could do a trade! ;)
And because you're in Tallahassee, and I went to grad school at FSU
(the grad film school was in Sarasota at the time), I'll throw in some film cores for free (if I can find 'em) . . . maybe a grease pencil or two as well . . . you never know!

Cheers!

In the spirit of Spring cleaning I'm presenting this offer.

Approximately 150 Quad (yes 2" Quad) videotapes, used... old... OK, very old.  I've donated the TR-60 to the local PBS station for a museum piece and now I need to divest the remaining Quad tape that is holding down the northern central part of Florida.

I can't say that it could be used for it's original purpose, if someone really had the means to, but it makes great streamer backdrops and it's much better than TP for those nefarious ones out there.  OK, I admit it... we actually did bury someone's car in a mound of unspooled Quad tape once.

Shipping would be the only cost to you, unless you happen to be nearby Tallahassee, FL.  Yes, it's heavy.

It's likely an offer that will rarely, if ever, be seen in the future so don't miss out on this opportunity!
