Interesting. I'll have to swing back and check out the software version. How does that work? Would you dedicate a computer with an I/O card to play the role of the deck? Given most video cards only do input or output one at a time how would that be monitored while outputting to tape. I'll definately check out Venice as well. Thanks for the info.

Yes, it does inserts into QT movies. Even ProRes. They also have a software version now that is Windows only and will be around $10K.
