Re: [Avid-L2] V7.0.4 track not found bug

I am on 8.3 / Mac now, but when I was on 7.0 - 7.0.2 Mac I had a pretty predictable bug that is similar:  step into nested effect, add new effect or remove existing effect inside nest, get assertion error, poof, MC vaporizes.

Haven't seen it since upgrading to 8.0 and above.  And i don't miss that little irritation :-).  So maybe 8 solves that little problem?  Or whatever the latest 7.0.4 CPR release?

Apologies for posting from the past but my sector is only just hitting v7 (7.0.4 to be precise on Windows) and I've come across a *really* irritating bug. I'm hoping that you guys in the future ran across it and can help me avoid it.

Basically, intermittently (though not intermittently enough) if I go into colour correction (Symphony) mode in a nested clip I get an error message I haven't seen for years "Track 8 not found". I OK it and carry on correcting. Sadly Avid is now hosed and I can't get out of cc mode (or rather I can go to trim mode but then I can't get out of that). The only solution is to quit Symphony and restart. Bummer in a grading session to say the least.

Anyone else seen this? Better still, anyone else fix this?
