Tolis Group will give you a trial key that works for 30 days...They let me extend it because I was doing extensive testing. It is the full version, and after the 30 days it only disables the backup capabilities, you can still use the features of search and restore forever.
I suggest you take it for a "test drive" (pun intended). It works on PC, Mac Unix and Linux, and just about any tape drive on the market. Only confusing part is which program versions you need. BRU PE is what I used, for a standalone copy of the software. It is the least expensive option for single workstation use.
