Great News!!!!!!!
We are pleased to announce the release of Media Composer | Software (v8.2.2). This latest maintenance update – available today February 4th, 2015 – adds many fixes to the application as well as Support for Mac OS v10.10.1.
When will this be Available: We expect to go live with the update today February 4th, 2015 at 12:00pm ET.
The software is NOW live!
ReadMe: Customers should be encouraged to read the "ReadMe" for changes/updates. I have again attached the ReadMe for your convenience.
How to obtain the Media Composer | Software: Login to your " My Account " at account.avid.com and select the Download Center under Avid Linked Accounts.
Existing Customers on v8.2: Customers who have already installed Media Composer | Software ( v8.2 ) can upgrade to v8.2.2 at no charge.
Patches:
If you currently have Media Composer | Software v8.2 installed and are looking for a patch to v8.2.2, you can find both PC and Mac patch installers here ( Editor Patch Folder ).
Support : Customers on Avid Support can download the Media Composer | Software v8.2.2 update from the Avid Download Center (login and password required) if they are still using the v8.2.x code base.
Note: The FlexVersioner is no longer supported for this release. All current Support plan customers upgrading to Media Composer v8.2.2 who do not see their System ID listed in the My Products and Subscriptions section of their MyAvid account should read how to Upgrade Media Composer in your account for instructions.
