Lou,
Maybe try looking for the bin name on the Finder level of the computer using the search function? It's another way to see if the bin you're searching for is hidden within another folder. Then you can navigate to it within Avid.

Hi Lou,I did a quick test in a project where the clip is on a bin from another project. You can "Find Bin, but there is no indication that the bin is in the "Other Bins" folder. However, if I type the bin name in the search field next to the New Bin button, the bin appears in the project window. In this case, the name is in italics indicating it was opened in another project. I made another folder, "hide me" and put a bin in it after loading one of it's clips in the source window and closed the bin. "Find Bin" opens the bin as expected. If I type it's name in the search field on the bin tab, it finds the bin, but does not show that it is in the "hide me" folder. Perhaps your missing bin is in a folder?Hope this helps,PaulFrom: "Lou Wirth loutv@mindspring.com [Avid-L2]" <Avid-L2@yahoogroups.com>
