Avid gave existing MC & Symphony owners until Dec 31st, 2014 to purchase an annual support plan. As of Jan 19th Avid has ended their grace period and they are no longer making this available on the Avid.com web store.
Videoguys has been given permission by Avid to continue to sell Media Composer upgrade/ annual support plans.
These are sent to you electronically via email. Which means we can fulfill your order no matter where in the world you are! All you need is a valid Avid.com user account.
This is for a limited time only and it will only last as long as we have inventory left. We think we have enough to allow us to continue selling into February, but we can't guarantee that. Avid will not allow us to purchase any more, so when they are gone, they are gone forever. If you do not purchase a support plan while we still have them available, you will not be able to upgrade your software without buying a new perpetual license (or subscription). If at any time you decide to stop buying support, you will still own your perpetual license along with any and all upgrades you downloaded and installed while under your support contract.
