Well given that you can't seem to output to tape with Blackmagic on Avid, it puts a frame of black at the head of every digital cut and offsets the output one frame due to what I believe is a processing delay I'd go AJA unless you need Resolve to output to a scope etc... Other apps I'm told will output to tape properly with Blackmagic hardware but as yet I've not gotten it to work Mr. B is also fighting the battle with this. They need a frame offset setting that would roll the timeline one frame early like exists in AJA Sony A and Sony B presets for deck control. It is truely ridiculous that this issue hasn't been Resolved by the company that make Res...., well you get the point.
