Re: [Avid-L2] Waveform cache

 

I've seen waveforms that appeared off in sub clips but correct in master clips after matching back to the original master clip from the subclip.  Never really got an answer as to what was going on.  This was back around SN Verr 3 ish days on a pc.  Are the wave forms of in the source side or in a timeline they have been cut in to?  If they are in a timeline you might try cutting a problem clip into a new sequence and see if anything changes. 

I've also found some various strange behaviors clear up if I trash the .avs file in the project folder but I'm not sure how the ISIS structure is for those files.  Is there a different .avs folder for every user of a project?  This might explain if different bays have different .avs files for a project why one bay works correctly and one doesn't but I'm just guessing out loud and have no real answer.
