Usually it is the permissions associated with the internal drive. Check that first. Then it could be a plug in - drag your plug in folder to the desktop and launch and see if the issue goes away. if not thats not the culprit, if so one of them is and you need to one by one figure out which one it is.... then go with the other suggestions on this thread.
