This is one of those completely unhelpful error messages that can mean a lot of things or nothing at all.
If it's the one with your master sequence, you may have to go to previous versions in the attic or do some really tedious troubleshooting.

When I try to open a project in MC 7.0.4 I get the following error message
Alert "Segmentation fault" in thread "Main Thread", at address 0x0
The application then "unexpectedly quits"
It's a large project lots of bins, various resolutions, master sequence about on a stand-alone system, MC 7.0.4 on Mac Pro running OS 10.9.3
Any advice to counter the error gratefully received
