yes, thats true.
AJA says that uninstalling the former driver/plug-in is really required.
In addition they suggest removing the AJA folder in the Windows Registry.
I did all that but had no luck.
Sometimes it helps to uninstall the old one before installing the new one. I'm on Mac so I am not aware of any "tricks" on Windows.

I was working on some upgrades yesterday, and realized none of our systems with aja io express have the latest version of Aja's plug-in. I'm sure there's a support chart somewhere that says officially what version I should be on- anyone know where to find it?
