Good question. I was wondering the same. Currently on 7.0.3 and 10.8.5 on a late 2013 iMac, in the final-final stages of finishing a feature. All working well. Don't even want to risk going to 7.0.4.
I did buy the $270 8.2 upgrade though, thinking I'll upgrade sometime next year.
