I offered them an EDL! They didn't want it!
In any case, it wasn't AMA material. It was transcoded directly to DNxHD 115 from the original ProRes 4444 LOGc files.

Try sending them an EDL. In my experience, AAF its harder to conform if media was brought using AMA.

The conform people are using DaVinci/Resolve, and I think that's where the issue is. Last time they used Nucoda and everything went great.I can't thank you enough for conducting the test, Mark. That really helps focus our efforts. All the best,DDOn Sep 15, 2014, at 11:01 AM, Mark Spano cutandcover@gmail.com [Avid-L2] <Avid-L2@yahoogroups.com> wrote:Hi David,I just tried exporting an AAF from a 1080/23.976p project with 2K Alexa Log footage. In my initial sequence, the footage has a Log to Linear LUT and is FrameFlex to fit. The resulting AAF has the clip names intact, and if I import it into MC, also brings in information about the source settings as well.On Mon, Sep 15, 2014 at 1:04 PM, David Dodson davidadodson@sbcglobal.net [Avid-L2] <Avid-L2@yahoogroups.com> wrote:
I'm turning over AAFs to the conform people and they're telling me they can't see the source file names, and that it's probably because I'm using a Source Setting LUT (in this case, an Arri LUT for Alexa LOGc). I have a hard time buying this.
Can anyone think of why the AAF is not seeing the source clip file names that does NOT involve hunting down shots one at a time and removing LUTs by hand?
I'm on MC 7.0.4. Mac Pro. Cutting with transcoded DNxHD 115 from Alexa ProRes 4444 LOGc.
