Avid does not care about high end finishing either. However does your sequence start at !:00:00:00 with nothing before it? I have had to layoff just program sequence and then make new sequence for head of tape and insert that. This way the avid will put F1 on 1 hr and start cadence from there. But it might not work in version 8.1 since not much does.
