Don't blame Nexidia for that though. They can't do anything inside the Avid interface. All Avid is using them for is the phonetic engine. Nexidia may have wanted feedback for their own external tools, though, I don't know, but Nexidia has nothing to do with the way Phrasefind itself is implemented. That has to be Avid code.

I won't upgrade without Phrase Find. It's a life saver. I use it all the time. When I first got it I posted asking for more robust search tools with the ability to specify bins and other parameters. Nexidia actually reached out to me and said they wanted feedback which I gave them. But obviously nothing ever came of it.
Very disappointing.
