Re: [Avid-L2] [FR] Four requests after seeing the goodies added in v8.1

And I have been having a real problem with the way keyframes are selected. Command clicking on keyframes in some instances doesn't select or deselect just the one. Shift clicking also doesn't do what it seemingly should. These used to be based on selecting all keyframes between in and out points. It would make a lot more sense to have these keyframes selected and unselected in the same way as most things in a given OS, namely, that shift clicking adds all points between two clicks and command/control clicking adds or deselects the point from or to a group of points.

Speaking of "the ability to hold Shift to make a circle or a square," which should be a no-brainer, I find it odd that I can't click on a clip in the Timeline, then hold Shift and click on a later clip to select a start clip, end clip and everything in between on a given track. Isn't it a standard computer UI to be able to shift-click to select a large group (of anything)? Sometimes click & drag (lasso) is awkward, so shift-click should be an option.

Coming back to Media Composer from FCP after seven years, I was disappointed that the handling of stills (in Pan & Zoom) has not been improved upon. Message to Avid: Really? And I had to laugh the first time I got the familiar error message about precomputes not loading in the Source Monitor. Really?!!!!!
