As cumbersome as it may seem I create rolling/crawling titles with the title tool, and go ahead until I hit the character/size limit, save and lay the title in the timeline, edit it, promote to Marquee when asked (title settings have to be on the default for the "promote to Marquee?" popup to appear), and finish the title; I find Marquee too difficult to larn for occasional use (in my case) and creating/formatting titles with the easy to use Title Tool for finishing over Marquee it's a lazy but fully working shortcut. Anybody fought with the NewBlueFX Titler bundled with MC 7-8?
