IMAX.... Not suitable for Tx.
Done.
Blanking issues.....
Had the 'pleasure' of watching an Imax 3D movie yesterday... Aside from the usual/standard grumbles about 3D it was terrible as the entire movie was cut with two different aspect ratios. This wasn't on a scene for scene basis, but was on cut for cut. Same width, different height.
How you'd write that up on a QC sheet.. Costantly changing horizontal blanking errors throughout or just no one seems to care 'k it!

Subject: [Avid-L2] Re: QC Quote of the day (Training)Just looking through my QC training notes and it reminded me that some external scopes allow you to enable the SAV/EAV (start of Active Picture/ End of Active Picture) markers that will then show those markers on the display. That's the most accurate way of seeing exactly what samples are active as it's all the samples between those markers.
