I've had vaguely similar stuff with 6.x but I think there's usually a
little spike in activity. In my experience, the screen goes white if
you click on anything in the application. Then, if you wait quietly, so
as not to scare it, it sometimes comes back to normal after a short
break. It seems like this usually happens when I'm trying to work
quickly. No idea if my experience is related to yours. --J.B.
