So the short answer to his question is to rename "1" to "SYMPH1.2". You
will be granted the permission you need to scan.
In Interplay, it is much more flexible. The Media Indexer server
(typically it is the same computer as the Interplay server) will scan
all shared storage workspace as long as it is listed in the Media
Indexer service. Names do not matter.
