While I think the 01V still works, I don't think it ever did panning, only volume. Also only Automation Gain, no Clip levels. Plus, you need a MidiSport box to translate to USB.
I would go for the Avid Artist Mix (or Euphonix MC Mix). Connects via network.
I'm setting up a home edit room after a few years, and I'm wondering what my options for mixers that work with automated gain/pan etc in Media Composer versions 7 and forward.
I'm aware of the Avid Mix, but I'm seeing lots of used Yamaha 01v around in pretty good shape, and I wonder if I can use one of these, which used to be compatible. Or maybe find one of the older Euphonix versions. Basically, what are people using in real life and recommending?
I want to be able to handle powered faders rather than mouse the on-screen mixer.
