Adobe Media Encoder is very good.

What is the favorite tool these days for rendering an Avid sequence outside of the application. I am familiar with Squeeze, but I’m sure there must be other products folks are using.
The workflow desired is to flatten movies and TV shows for DVD and Blu-ray encoding. They have the shared storage piece and the encoding solution, just looking to not tie up editor stations rendering these long files.
