Just AMA linked Quicktime ProResHQ files for the first time. Straight playback is significantly rougher than I expected, particularly compared to FCP on the same system. Yeah. Not a fair comparison I know, but I'm wondering if this matches the experience of others and if there is anything I should do to optimize, other than transcoding.
