[Avid-L2] BUG - background transcoding of P2 footage.

bug report for MC 7.0.4:

I'm transcoding footage from a Panasonic 170.  (P2 DVCPro HD, 1080i/60, encoding a 24p stream into 60i with advanced pulldown.)

When I try to transcode what I would call a compound clip -- ie. a clip that has more than 1 associated .MXF files in the VIDEO subdirectory of the P2 card -- it fails during background transcode.  The same operation succeeds if I transcode it in the foreground.

Background Queue reports the following error:
   Exception: PlayPipe::DoComp mobDesc.position < 0, trimming strobe effect?

This camera splits clips into chunks every 4.25 gigs, or if a clip spans 2 cards while recording -- so basically any clip longer than about 4.5 minutes fails to transcode in the background (exactly the clips where this feature would be most useful.)

I am transcoding to DNx36 in a 1080p/23.976 project with Film Options/35mm 4-perf, with conversion of audio sample rate and bit depth selected in the transcode window.  Because the transcode is from 1 frame rate to another, I have to click through the standard warning at the start about being unable to relink clips, etc.

Cheers,
--Michael
